Fun for Children
Kinera Foundation recognizes that families of children with special needs and disabilities require extra programs, support and resources to help them get through the day-to-day, which can include navigating chronic conditions and diseases, school and education, social opportunities and activities, as well as other aspects of life. Throughout the year, Kinera offers a variety of activities, events, programs and resources geared for children to address these needs.
Craft CornerDuring the challenging time of Covid-19, Kinera is offering activities and crafts for children. Crafts are a great way for children to practice fine motor skills, while working on attention and focus skills, too! Please see the guided video for the bumblebee craft. Click here for material list. Have fun crafting!
Email photos of your crafts to us and we'll add to our Facebook page and website. [email protected] |

Create a 2020 Covid-19 Time Capsule!
What is your family and loved ones doing during this history-making time of the Covid-19 Pandemic? A time capsule is a great way to capture your memories and thoughts of how you spent your time at home, how you coped with changes to daily life routines, etc. Include objects, photos and whatever you like to share with future generations. Place everything in a contained (such as a used, recycled coffee can, oatmeal container) and decorate it. Have fun!
