Bands, Brew and Barbecue - Volunteer Sign Up

As you know in July of 2016 Kinera Foundation opened the doors to the Kinera Foundation Eastern Shore Regional Hub to help children with special health care needs, living on the Eastern Shore access services, therapies, information and resources. Since opening our doors, we have provided direct services or therapies to over 85 children, helped over 100 families access information and resources, and provided over 600 hours of direct services with 121 hours of care coordination. We achieved this together with our team of therapists, care coordinators, and partnering providers.

While we can bill insurance for many of the services we provide, have grant funding to allow Kinera Foundation to execute new programs, our financial needs extend beyond these revenue sources. Fundraising allows Kinera Foundation to keep the doors to our office open, allows us to ensure that families, regardless of their ability to pay for our services have access, and gives us flexibility in our budget to ensure that regardless of grant funding, our programs can remain intact.

This year we are hosting our first large fundraising event, Bands, Brew and Barbecue. Highlighting local bands, brews provided by Ram’s Head, and local barbecue, we know that this event will be a fun night out for the adults in our community. We need your help in making this a success. We appreciate your support and volunteer hours. Please sign up for one or more of the volunteer opportunities below listed. With your support, we know that we can do so much more for our community, especially the children in our community with special health care needs.
